PULSE supports entrepreneurs in setting up and developing viable and resilient businesses by providing them with access to technical and behavioural expertise, tailored financing and a supportive environment, whilst working with local stakeholders and industry sectors.<\/p>\n

Our programmes are primarily aimed at entrepreneurs who are furthest removed from economic opportunities yet form the bedrock of the economy: young people, women, and micro-entrepreneurs operating in the informal economy and\/or in rural or peri-urban areas.<\/p>\n

We envision a world where everyone has the skills, resources and supportive environment to achieve economic independence and contribute to fairer, more resilient and sustainable communities.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

In 2026, PULSE merged with PPI (formerly Plan\u00e8te Finance, then Positive Planet International).<\/p>\n

Since its creation in 1998 by Jacques Attali, PPI has been working internationally to promote the economic empowerment of women, men and local actors working towards sustainable development. PPI supports individuals and organisations in three key areas: access to finance, particularly through community finance; access to employment; and access to markets, by supporting actors within inclusive value chains.<\/p>\n

PULSE is an association established in 2006 within the SOS Group, whose initial mission is to support impact entrepreneurship and make it accessible to as many people as possible through awareness-raising initiatives, capacity-building for local stakeholders, and support and funding programmes for impact project leaders.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

This merger has given rise to an organisation capable of working with individuals, communities and ecosystems alike, with a team of 145 staff across around ten countries.<\/p>\n

Combining 20 and 28 years of field experience respectively, this organisation offers an integrated approach to development, centred on supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening local ecosystems, in order to address the economic challenges of the new generation.<\/p>\n

By supporting those furthest removed from economic opportunities, it helps to build resilient and sustainable communities, where prosperity goes hand in hand with justice and equity.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

PULSE is an association within the SOS Group, a network of associations and a major player in the social and solidarity economy, and a European leader in social entrepreneurship<\/p>\n

The SOS Group is a non-profit organisation committed to fostering social cohesion. It develops and brings together associations and social enterprises, united by their social and environmental commitment.<\/p>\n

Its work centres on two main priorities: managing non-profit organisations dedicated to young people, health, vulnerable people and the elderly; and preparing for a sustainable and inclusive future, with ambitious projects for the green transition, regional revitalisation, responsible business and access to culture.<\/p>\n

Secular and non-partisan, it champions a genuine vision for society, centred on the public good.<\/p>\n
